Still looks like a quality workable shooter that will last another 30yrs in the north. About time the rangers are given a modern rifle that suits their needs.

So when do the lee enfields go on sale?

The rangers currently equipped with Enfield rifles will be allowed to keep them.... perhaps in several months the od former ranger may list their old rifles. It's also possible they get a contract forbidding resale.... hard to know for sure.... it's doubtful they will be available an mass and from what I hear many/most are rebuilds/hodge podges by now.
