My P14 sporter stock has the typical problem. At some point one of the previous owners pared the forend down to a toothpick in order to get a weight saving for hunting. Seems extra bubba stocks are not a common thing these days judging from the dearth of them in the EE. I was thinking of stripping the forend & securing some pieces of walnut carved to fit the existing forestock profile to get something more in line with the forend on the old BSA conversions.
Probably better to get a spare P14 bubba stock & go from there?
