FAMAE SG542 5/20 magazines, who has them in stock???

Ive talked to Mr Ritcher from ERE system, He said CSC will sell Famage Sg542 mags again, ETA was 45days (it's been 34 days since his answer).
CSC confirm this information about a week ago and said ETA is 15 days.

So likely we will be able to buy them Late april/ early may.

I think Canada ammo was just advertising that today

Did he mention any other parts? Still waiting for the Galil stocks to come in.. Been over a year now.
 
If canada ammo would consider making a 308 version of their magazines for the 542 like they did for the Swiss, then it would be a game changer for the Famae guns. Mag availability and cost hamstrung them from the start. Excelent rifle design bit sucky mag situation.
 
I inquired whether CanAm would be interested in doing similar to what they did for the SA with a polymer mag or even get Norinco to make a metal copy. Not enough demand/numbers are not there to make it a viable enterprise.
If Famae pulled their heads from their a$$es and came up with reasonable pricing for their products it would all become moot.

I've toyed with the idea of making some from modified Chinese M-305 mags, but the time and effort isn't worth my time even if it presents an interesting challenge.
