Fiocchi shotgun shells - who sells them in Canada?

On trips out to North Dakota, I always try to grab a few boxes of Golden Pheasant in 16ga during Cabelas pit stops. 1 1/8oz at 1310fps really reaches out on those wild hard-flying western birds. Rarely use them at home here but they are great shells.

I picked up a flat last fall. With an IM choke, they hit hard a long ways out.

How do you do that legally. Please honestly share since I have a vintage flat of 16ga AA sitting at my brothers for over 10 years in OHIO and we are both yanks/ canadians with rpals and cannot legally do it with out getting others involved and a ton of paper work
Cheers

Nice try

It wasn't a trick question. It was a honest one since things are changing every day under trump and I might have missed something.Years ago I could bring it back with ZERO issues. Do you know how hard it is to get wincherster compression formed hulls today for a 16ga and I have a flat sitting there since many years
It is to the point I am going to buy my brother a 16ga so he can shoot them at sporting clays and send me the hulls
take care

3macs1,
If you or your bro have dual citizenship they can be brought back to Canada with the dual citizen.
Or, you can purchase a licence to hunt in the U.S. and apply for ATF with those shells listed.

Thanks. We do both have the dual. I will have to look into it further. It would be more him coming this way for a visit from Ohio than me going down any more
My health isn't what it once was :(
thanks again for the information

Even an American can't legally export ammunition out of the USA without a permit. He can bring ammunition out of the USA for his own use, but legally, he is supposed to take back what he doesn't use. However, if you have your F6NIA form to possess firearms in the USA, you can legally bring back the ammunition listed on the form. So if you go for a hunt and shoot a few boxes, you can purchase what you have shot to bring the amount back up to what is listed on the form.

And you best be having that ammo if you tell them you do, if you get checked before entering. No way would this be a good idea on an airplane.

have been checked and proved what I have many times.

We have even had the Canadian side hold fire arms until proof of ownership regardless of f6nia, old registration certs are good for somthing at least and anything new is tracked through emails.

What’s your experience been with the border of late?

It's been a few years since I took firearms or ammunition into the USA, but I never had any issues. I took exactly what was listed on my F6NIA with me, and I didn't bring anything back that wasn't listed.

I have been three times this year already worst part is both sides don’t know exactly what they are doing either. Canadian side being the worst,

Paper trail is king it passes the fault.
