Low cost complete lower, Dominion Arms VS NEA

I know many guys on here will think I’m nuts, but I have had great experiences with my NEA ARs,and I would recommend them any time, especially if you’re assembling one yourself from parts.
I found my .300 blk to be a little fussy after I accidentally got the gas block skewed a little while working on the gun,but it was me that put it out of whack, not them.Try running a heavy buffer when you assemble it,too,as that seems to keep them happy, and running smooth and reliable.
Just my $0.02 worth.

No you are not crazy and I totally agree with you. There are heavily bias against the NEA stuff from some people. I had a lemon and I completely rebuild the whole thing with some replacement parts (from TNA... another place not known for selling tip-top brandname parts ;) ). But guess what? Mine is working flawlessly ever since.

I had issues with my first complete rifle from NEA running through mags with a single squeeze of the trigger. It was replaced by a vendor, sold the replacement before firing it.

Didn't want to touch another NEA for years. Then buddy wanted help assembling an AR...and another...and another. Almost a dozen assembled rifles later and not a single major issue beyond working out right buffer springs etc.

Have to say that maybe I was too harsh in my opinion in the past.

Being an owner of both a norinco and having built a stripped NEA I would go NEA all day long over the norinco. While the norinco generally works it's always been loose and gritty. You also cannot take the norinco to the US to compete should you ever want to do that. Fit and finish the norinco is a lada. It generally works but it'll never fool you into thinking it's high end.

This is the stupidest thing I've read today, your defending a company that you had to "completely rebuild" their rifle to make to run flawlessly? Why the #### do people keep buying this garbage there's a reason there's a "heavy bias" against NEA.

Op out of the 2 I'd say skip over both and save a little longer for something else or if it absolutely needs to be one of these two get the norc because I'd rather support Chinese then a bull#### half ass company that refuses to get their #### figured out.

There's a brand new Aero Precision stripped lower on the EE right now for $80 shipped and they regularly go on sale for $99 + tax and shipping brand new from retailers. If it were me I'd do that over either Dominion or NEA.

It does sound pretty stupid doesn't it? ;) But then you were not there and you didn't know the full story. I do have 2 other NEA uppers that run flawlessly without anything done.. but then I can be just a liar.

So what I'm sure there are nea that run just fine out of the box and I have nor will ever doubt that however their record for quality is probably the worst out there. It would take someone 5 minutes of research to come to the same conclusion and no I would consider what you said a lie when even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I've bought a stripped NEA lower and put in the cheapest lower parts kit from TNA. I run it in a 7.5inch pistol that shoots 7.62x39. It kicks significantly harder than any ar I've fired. Had over 1000 rounds and no issues.
