Who wants to PRE-ORDER a TIKKA T1x?

Do these rifles take standard Tikka bases?

Wolverine. I have money down on this rifle and I'd like an answer to this, too. You have more power than us plebs when it comes to wrenching answers out of Tikka/Beretta/Stoeger...
Please figure this out for us. I have optics in 30mm Warne QD rings for my precision rifles. I want to be able to hot-swap my optics from my other Tikka rifles on to my t1x. So, in order to enjoy this rifle on DAY ONE, I need to figure out what kind of 1913 rail to order. I need to know, and I'd love an answer so I can line up the appropriate rail.
 
Near as I can figure, Canadian distributor is like 3x removed from Tikka. Probably have to communicate with Stoeger, who communicates with Beretta, who communicates with Tikka. So delivery estimates are definitely approximates...
 
New info on the Tikka. Rumours from the states. They found a problem in the early batch of 22’s and back to tinkering . The newest arrival date is August to the US.
 
Rimfire central reported a problem with the .22’s so tikka is fixing before shipping more. Plus side to US getting all the toys before us is they are the test market.

Seems this is the only way we Canadians get any information,nobody(stores) wants to share or are out of the loop
 
I heard the new expected date for these was summer of 2019.

Just wish there was more official information to confirm this so I can allocate these funds to another gun on the “to buy before end of the year” list.
 
I called Stoeger Canada today to ask about these. The lady who answered said the T1X is listed as back ordered and they have no anticipated date of arrival.

If I had something to say that had any merit at all I would. We have not been given anything official, I am looking into this with our purchasers but at this exact moment I got nothing...
If we have positive info, or even negative info, we make it a priority to share it with the end user.. There is no point in leaving everyone in the dark..
