LF small gun case

I am looking for a very small gun case
For my G17
Doesn’t need to protect the gun, just transport it as compact as can be in my range bag
We could say something similar in size to factory tupperware

Plastic, lockable with padlock eyelids, hard case as i am not sure of legality of soft zipper ones.
Currently own nanuk 905 and plano pistol tactical one, want something smaller

What do you use?

Soft zippered with padlock is legal and about as small as you can get.

I got a zippered soft case here, with padlock eyelid at zipper ends.
Was always convinced these cases we're gray area as far as legality goes.
Will have to search the legalese and try to find clear answers on this, i am convinced there must be numerous threads and don't need to start my own,

Edit : it's a very debated subject
So might as well stay hard case
Any one of you got miniature hardcases?

You can believe whatever you want, but it's not a 'grey area'. It's legal, period.

11 An individual may transport a restricted firearm only if

(a) it is unloaded;

(b) it is rendered inoperable by means of a secure locking device;

(c) it is in a locked container that is made of an opaque material and is of such strength, construction and nature that it cannot readily be broken open or into or accidentally opened during transportation; and

(d) if it is in a container described in paragraph (c) that is in an unattended vehicle,

(i) when the vehicle is equipped with a trunk or similar compartment that can be securely locked, the container is in that trunk or compartment and the trunk or compartment is securely locked, and

(ii) when the vehicle is not equipped with a trunk or similar compartment that can be securely locked, the vehicle, or the part of the vehicle that contains the container, is securely locked and the container is not visible from outside the vehicle.

Anyways this thread wasn’t about the debate, must be a 100 of those in the legalese section
Just looking for the smallest lockable sturdy container that will fit a g17

Haha yep, not having a 12.6 will call for a much larger book!

Gee guys, that book is way to big.
Lots of guys use soft cases, small lock, and in your range bag, you could also lock that if it helps.
