The guaranteed group numbers are out and they're not good,,,again,,,

Looks like we're throwing in the towel after 30+ yrs,,just don't have enough guys to get tags anymore,,,

Correct me if I,m wrong but guys have told me just go to Quebec buy a tag and go hunt .

Yep, non resident tag I think is around $450 and you get a bull tag for every two guys.

I would think that the ideal would be to actually have moose around for generations to come.

I am still calling for a closure to open moose hunting in Ontario, no calf hunting, no cow hunting, limited bull hunting on a lottery system.

Let the moose build up their population again.

Moose hunting in Quebec. I've done that. But I would recommend going with an outfitter if at all possible. There was a TV program a few years back in Quebec, similar to W5 showing how some hunters in Quebec vigorously protect what they deem to be THEIR moose hunting territory even though it is on crown land. Burning campsites, trailers and threatening outsiders. So if you go to Quebec do so with caution. Just imagine what some of the locals may
do to someone who is not even from their Province.

3 less bull tags and 4 more cow tags available compared to last year.... last year we had a cow tag and i saw 8 moose... only 1 was a cow
