BCL 102 stripped receiver set thread

Would anyone be so kind as to a list of parts that work to complete the receiver? I hope to have mine in hand soon.

I assume an AR10 LPK from Brownells should cover the bases?

Except for the front pivot pin and the one side of the ambi bolt release, everything is the same as an AR15 LPK.
 
Mine showed up. Started fitting a few parts. My A2 receiver extension doesn't cover the buffer retaining hole when installed, and I might be missing the retaining screw for the ambi bolt release. Did anyone else get that small diameter set screw that retains the ambi bolt release? Or do we have to source our own somewhere?

They only come with the ambi bolt release and the plunger pin for it. They are stripped uppers and lowers. The screw is a generic item, not something specific to the 102.

Genaric as in comes with any old LPK?

If I go to RDSC will they be able to sell me one, or do I need to go to bolt supply store? if latter is the case, thats a god damn joke. why bother including the non standard bolt release or plunger but not the set screw?! Its a friggen $0.10 piece!

It does make it a little problematic to properly assemble a working rifle without it. Correct me if I am wrong, but it doesn't come with any LPKs and I can't even find it on Brownells.

Spending a little time on google gives ht tps://aeroprecisionusa.com/threaded-roll-pin.html as an option, out of stock at one particular site sponsor.

Is there an easier place to get one of these? Somewhere in Canada? Is the thread pitch the same as that Aero one?

The fact that you are popping in to this thread is appreciated.

Will do. Thanks. Please consider helping us out on this one. It does not seem like the easiest item to source, particularly when all you need is one tiny screw.

No doubt. Something like this that is not a standard/dedicated rifle part should be included. The amount it diminish BCL or SFRC's margin on these sets is hardly even measurable.

The amount of time Ryan and BCL will have tied up in answering inquiries about this set screw however will not be. The quickest and best solution in my opinion would be for Ryan to get BCL to send over a packet of them and mail them out to who ever drops him an email with regards to this issue.
 
would be nice to be able to assemble that shiny new receiver waiting at home.... at least its non restricted so can take the lower to Home Depot to test screws :)
