Looking for an entry level AR to compliment my old CAR 15 shooter.

Saw Cabelas has MP ARs for 699.00, thought it is better than a Norc? Any other deals out there?

The M&P Sport II was $599 a little while back. I'm currently sitting it out to see if it goes back down that way.

How recent was this? I've been searching around and waiting for a good price until I bought mine but, at the time Tenda had the best price for $649. It seems like the prices are only getting higher.

November last year for sure. I think FAO had them at a similar price point earlier in the year too, but I could be wrong.

I doubt you will see the M&P get any cheaper then what it is now. With the Canadian dollar still sucking ass, the glut of inventory being slowly cleared out stateside and the reduction of manufacturing levels thanks to the Trump effect will see the prices go back to normal historical levels soon.
