Created to limit non resident pressure in the province as well as areas that were flooded with non res pressure. I have no issues with that one bit.
I have issues with the fact I could have lived there, moved away 10 years ago and if I had 1 relative anywhere in the province I would take precedence over another person. Now if I had to hunt with said relative in the same area as them which would be a bond say like father son outting etc I would agree it made sense.
It's not that way at all.
I'd gladly like to hear your take as u are a resident, I'm sure I would be prejudiced if u were coming to my back door to hunt as well but here in friendly Manitoba we just let any Canadian buy a tag, which I don't agree with either nor I surmise you would yourself if it happened on your doorstep.
I fully embrace the Sask idea of conservation but seriously a non res is a non res, it should be a point system on a draw honestly, as well as the tag should be worth more. Manitobas non res tags are too cheap as well, not from the province 1 should have to pay to play, make it more beneficial to Conservation.
Just my 2 cents but honestly I have no issue with discussing, I'm not throwing stones.
