Good news !!!!! ,first I want to thank all of you great guys for your advice and comments and encouragement it really helped! SO I won't call the previous owner Bubba because other than sanding the stock and using the wrong screws on the sling hole escutions ?? the piece is pretty much unmolested. BUT he lost the trigger pin and replaced it with a nice soft undersize NAIL!!! at first I was going to give him credit because there was a kink/belly in the nail, then I realized the nail got bent down enough that it no longer moved the sear. Working on old guns is great fun solving problems and bringing them back. So I measured pin hole = 4mm. =.157=5/32 inch stuck in drill shank slipped bolt in let the trigger off and opened bolt pressed trigger and VOILA!!!! Removed the bolt, hooda, thought!!fortunately On top of that, the bore is good, dark, but no pitting!!!!!! The trigger is still sloppy(side to side) and it just kinda hangs there swinging(front to back) I plan on chucking it in the mill and enlarging to 11/64 in. Dia.cause the hole in the trigger is worn. Or just buy some new parts on evilbay. Anyway I think it will be a good shooter when all is said and done. If things go right i will shoot it tomorrow . Again thanks for all your interest and HELP!!!! Dugin
