Not new to shooting. About the only type of gun I haven't owned is an AR. My question for those much more knowledgable than I is what is the best AR out there for quality and reliability for under 2K ?

I have no desire to add a bunch of options to it other than optics. What I would like is just a well made reliable accurate shooter to play with at the range.

Thanks

That's true..Lot's of options available for under 2k..DD, LMT, Stag, Colt, can't really go wrong with any of them . I pounded my Stag and LMT hard and they just kept going. Accurate too.

According to your criteria. There are Colt Canada ARs on the EE right now for under 2gs. Or get a Colt USA on EE. Lots of great options. If you are only going to buy one get a Colt Canada and support Canadian manufacture. Its the closest to any military rifle out there. Milspec and TDP (The Data Plan) all engineered with cold hammer forged barrel. Best bang for the buck too and actually a bargain.

I bought the Colt EPR and I frigging love it. What a wicked piece of kit. I’m never selling it!
Btw I pretty much bought an AR because of Bill C71. I’m so glad I did.

if your looking to bang away on the range with 10 round mags first time out with an AR get a cheaper one to start Norc or M+P... Marstar has Norcs for $699 or Canam has DA556s for $599.... probably get a decent deal on something used here
