10/30 Troy and Hexmag AR15 mags, who's got them available?

Yup, some hexmag came in but there won't be any more. Troy ones aren't even pretending to be pistol mags are they?

They are not intended as pistol mags for the Canadian market. Those 10-round mags are for States and jurisdictions within the US which have a 10-round magazine limit for both self-loading rifles and handguns.

'excellent' 3 reviews eh? ;)

Deemed as prohibited devices up here.

But allowed If etched "10 round pistol mag" on body? Like gimme a fvcking break geez

Are these a prohibited device in canada which will be seized if found in possession of?

Or Just cant import them anymore but allowed to possess?

What if an Importer makes up a stencil and sprays them all with "10 round pistol magazine" or used a label maker and affixes them with stickers? Is that legal? Will CBSA be happy with that?

Just was cruising a few sites and noticed these are available down south with excellent reviews, just wondering why these have not hit the market in Canada? Or have they?

The Troy magazines are not for export to Canada in the 10rd format / as already mentioned they are for certain US State usage

Not legal and not likely to be allowed in if examined. Importers taking rifle mags and printing "pistol mag" on them has been part of the problem.

Just import a 30rd magazine and stencil "for .22lr rifles that aren't the 10/22 and doesn't fit any pistols" I'm sure it'll slip by the cbsa

As far as those mags in legal capacities (5/30), they are both budget mags for reasons you will find across the board. The hex mags are pretty cheaply made and flimsy, and my brother had his first two troy battlemags break on his first and second tactical reloads during a shooting course once they hit the snowy ground. The floorplate tabs holding them in plate into the mag wall cracked and rendered them useless. Mine have been okay, with just one day of decent use being thrown around on the summer grass and ground, but his first two broke. They're generally cheap for a reason.
