Has anyone tried these Canadian made barrels ? These guys are based in Chilliwack, B.C. and make all kinds of profiles & styles of barrels for reasonable price. I would give it a try but I'm curious if anyone has tried their barrel(s). It would be great to have good quality domestically sourced barrels.

I like to say i own a Canadian made barrel.
So far so good with my IBI barrel, only got 120 rounds down the tube but looking forward to shoot many more.
My last outing, was at 200M. On 1 sheet of paper i had 5 targets. Each target was shot with 5 shot groups. My 5 groups we're 0.6moa/0.5moa/0.5moa/0.4moa/0.4moa.
Which i find really cool, as i'm using a lowly Savage receiver afterall.
Will still thinker with my load once i feel like it.

Ordered it from Mystic Precision.
My order was : 308, 26'', M24 profile, 1:10, 5R, 3/4x24 muzzle thread, savage regular shank prefit.
When installing barrel, i ended up with a 1.629'' headspace.
Being a prefit, and was reamed by IBI, i touch lands at 2.825'' avg OAL using 175 SMKs.
With a 20 thou jump i end up loading at 2.805'' avg OAL.
I measure using Ogive, but since we don't all have same Ogive tools we sometimes come up with different figures.

Turnaround time was really good too, i hope they can keep it up and stay accessible to all, and not become one of these barrel makers with a 12++month backlog.

Ryan at international is a great guy to talk to. They have just received some very cool looking machines for producing their product. Check them out on face book.

I tested out a fairly early IBI M40 profile in .308 - from the first round it was close to half minute using old stock Winchester Ranger Match 168g. Very competitively priced and Ryan (Longshot) is a very experienced and knowledgeable shooter who you can 100% trust.

Competitively priced and "Close" to half minute doesn't seem like a IBI barrel is the way to save a 100 bucks on a build. Maybe in a few years when they have the new equipment and process under control they might. Havent heard a lot of stellar stuff on the ones they are giving out for testing. Tomochan....how is it shooting now and have you tried any hand loads ??

Oh is that right? And who might that have been? I haven't given out many for testing but ALL the results I've had back so far have been good. Please fill me in...

I think that comment is unfair. The first box of very aged - likely 30 year old - Winchester Ranger Match 168 used for sight in and then 5 round groups producing .527" and .540" at 100m ( which actually is sub 1/2 min in both cases as 100m is 109 yards - my bad in my initial write up) was, in my opinion, very nice indeed. I should also add that of my many fine 1/4 min rifles that are put away in Nov you may be surprised to see how many become 3/4 min rifles over the winter; in other words user is rusty.

From a glance at your post in another thread it seems you either have a beef with IBI or, perhaps, with me as two of your 6 total posts are critical of the IBI barrel or my shooting. Your comment in the other thread about 'LE ammo still being good stuff' and 'winter rust should be gone by now' indicates a paucity of knowledge about ammunition and complete ignorance about what or where or how I shoot.

Hmmmm I wonder who wchen50 could be??? Hey ibi if your reading this send me a barrel and I’ll spin it up and test the hell out of it, if it’s any good I’ll promote them through our saprl shoots this summer!

I've had a chance to shoot a handful of IBI barrels now and have seen a few more in the hands of shooters, all with good results! The IBI's are a great way to go if you want quality, Canadian made product without having to sell body parts! Longshot is a stellar dude who will help you out if you need it to. Can't say enough good things and can't wait to have a 26" 1:8" 5R .264 M24 contour on my match gun for the end of the NWPRL/PRS/NRL season!!!

Patiently waiting for the BCL-102 barrel page to be filled up. Or should one call it in?

What i ordered wasn’t on website or selectable.
I emailed mystic precision, gave him my specifics, and 2 months later it was delivered to ny door
Don’t know if production time or price has changed since December 2017, but i figure i got an awesome deal all in all.
And going through mystic precision we could discuss profiles, thread pitch etc... before ordering
