Debating two Lever "Bush" Guns

Just had my SBL out, was playing around with some remington corelokt... little powder puffs!
Held an inch at 100 yards on all 3 test groups! I may be in love.
I just wasnt expecting 16 inches of drop from a 25yard zero lol.

How far are you shooting to get 16 inches of drop?

Was shooting at 100. Checked the box after... it was the 1300 fps "safe for all rifles", not the 1600 fps for modern levers that I thought I bought.
Either way, was slick.

The GSBL is in the mail. Im praying I have a corrected Marlin as I wasnt able to get my hands on it before the purchase.

Ive been reading the 405 grain is the sweet spot for all around. Any experience with this load?

The GSBL arrived in the mail yesterday and I just wanted to let everyone know that I cant find a single issue with the fit or finish of this 1895. Wood fits perfectly, Ssghts are straight. No awkward spacing anywhere to be found.

The action is a bit stiff but its new and needs to be worked.

I was nervous with the previous issues Marlin had with QC but very happy so far!

AWESOME!!! I have a few Marlin lever guns (mix of JM and Remlin) so I am a little biased but I hope you enjoy it as much I do mine. A lever gun to me is like a stick shift in a car versus an automatic tranny...too much fun!
