So sitting here sippin' a cold one a reading a bunch of old threads as well as all the new ones in this forum, it occurred to me that we as a CGN community have an incredibly vast wealth of knowledge on here in the Reloading Forum who are always at hand and most times are there to assist in literally less than an hour. From answering all of our reloading questions, solving our reloading issues and offering the advice that only comes from many years of hands on experience, there is a group of gentlemen on here that answer the call time after time.

I know that I personally have learned an incredible amount and have been helped out many times on here, be it from my own started threads or those of others, and I'd like to take a moment just to say thank you to the men behind the screens who are endlessly there to answer all the questions and provide sound advice to those of us in need. I'm even going to go so far as to single out a few - Ganderite, Todbartell, Eagleye, Jerry Teo (Mystic), 3macs1 and Bigedp51, thank you for what you bring to the forum and thank you for your assistance with all of my questions.

Cheers!

Now, for those who can't accept a pleasant thread without debate and calling each other names, I shall leave you with the following;

6.5 Creedmoor is a fad and inferior to the 6.5x55 Swede... :stirthepot2:

I'll second that Slug. For myself to add a few more to the list that you mention. Kelly T, Rooster Dogleg and Hitzy have helped me out. Guneegoogoo (sp) had some great posts for me as well.

Much obliged.

Regards
Ronr

Thank you for bringing a few more names to the post. I think it is important that a little thank you is passed on to those who are always there with the answers we need.

Cheers!

I believe that's what makes us Canadian! I may not be knowledgeable in every aspect out there, but what I know, I help..as we all do. It's really great to see and to have a friendly community help those on a whim is truely remarkable!

I agree, great place with a lot of knowledge....too much sometimes as I learned about guns that I wasn't even aware existed, then read about how much fun they would be. Then had to go out and buy one! Or 2?

I would like to add my thanks as well. How do you guys remember all that stuff?!? I can hardly remember my own name in the morning!!

I will also have to chime in and say thank you everyone.
When i had reload questions, everyone got involved, even dealers with whom we exchanged emails for parts and components (hint hint Jerry)

Crazy to think that a year ago i knew almost nothing of rifle reloading, as i was a long time dillon650 9mm reloading monkey, in a crazy boring routine of just pumping ammo with little knowledge required.
And that today, 14 months later, i am producing solid 1/2 moa or better 308 ammo, with all that seemed mysterious in the days of pistol only reloading, as in neck turning and annealing just to mention a few.

At work or with friends, i always get people fascinated to the idea that i have learned all this process chatting on the internet.
Cheers CGNers

Ganderite for knowledge of all things powder, Eagleeye for dropping truth bombs in 100 characters or less(140 is so wordy), Dogleg for reloading applied to making your knives red.

There is a lot of great information and posters. The 6.5 vs x55 thread is also one of the problems. A lot of knowledgeable members quit posting because of circular, partisan, and personal attacks in threads like that.

Thank You for the Kind words. BTW, don't think for a moment that we older "experienced"
guys don't learn things too. The depth of knowledge on here is much deeper than many
realize, and by tapping in to that, we all benefit. Dave.

My props go out to Andy, he does some excellent load development and testing. He's not afraid to try new things and has a really good grasp of burn rates on cartridge/bore sizes.
