They are expensive regardless who you buy from.
Reliable gun and Tackle here in BC.
Shipping would offset any savings you might be looking for.

The only .17 cleaning rod I could find was a HOPPES ELITE at General Gun in Windsor Ontario . Quality and construction of the rod was on par if not better than the Dewey cleaning rods

They sent me a new 36" .17 rod when mine was defective. Shipping cost them 45$ USD
