Cheap bustard !!!!!i

Reminds me of one of our club rifles I had to "Un-Bubba". I called her Bubba Butt.

Looked like it was trimmed with a dull butter knife.

The line a couple inches from the butt is the cut line from the knife Bubba used to cut the duct tape covering the pad.

And after finding an original buttplate from Europe.

Your economics may or may not not work here in Canada. The exchange rate is not a good guide. The pair of flip flops would probably be at least 3 bucks in Dolarama and for some reason from a more turdier Chinese factory. The official Remington slip on if available at all would likely retail at least 3-4 times what you paid, no joke. Forget selling footwear just sell the genuine product for a 100 percent mark up and you should do fine ( sad for us)

I use a slip on recoil pad on my sks. Not because of the recoil, but due to the really short length of pull. I also use it on my enfield for the same reason.

Me too. I will put one on the moisin for that reason, and it's wicked recoil. I tried mine out a couple weeks ago; I took 10 rounds of Chinese surplus with me just to see where and how it shot. I fired 5, and that was enough. Rifle shoots great; puts them in less than an inch and a half at 100 yards leaning against a post; my shoulder still hurts depending on how I move it.

Ebay sells a $6.00 pad for the SKS. Not only does this tame the brutal recoil from the huge 7.62x39, but it makes the butt 2" longer, whichs it a better fit for me.

I find the full sized Nossy Maggot ok on recoil, but the M-44 makes a #5 feel like a Red Ryder BB gun. It needs a pair of flip flops.

I have done flip flops before. I usually take the steel plate off and glue the show to the wood with contacts cement.

Actually, you can get flip flops at Dollar Tree for $1.25. Hell the cheap ones at Walmart are only $3. And my slip on pad (i think it's Allen brand?) came from Walmart for $10.

Flip flops, flip flops, flip flops,? Can't you kanucs, get it through your head, it's THONGS!!!!! Easier to spell, it's shorter, and the word just gives me a nice warm fuzzy feeling!!! So there!!!

Trim your gun stock with a chainsaw to shorten it to bubba-length
And use bubble wrap for a recoil pad and a rubber band to hold it on!
Cost is 3 cents...
