Nice looking rifle man, the paint job looks good too. Is it a DIY job?
Is that a shroud of some kind over a stock barrel? Otherwise what's the barrel sticking out at the end?

Thanks man, its a DIY job with Arma-coat Magpul FDE. The barrel is a Dlask 16.5" threaded with no muzzle device. I'm still waiting on the flash hider I ordered for it (for looks of course)
This one’s been a couple years in the works. It’s as “stainless” as I can make it I even stripped the sites!
Mount is by weaver, scope is just a cheap simmons.

A really nice shape 1980's vintage 10/22 with typical wood stock.... 
Changed out the stock for a blue laminate that I had kicking around. Installed a 'Champion' extended mag release. Mounted & bore sighted a Leupold 2-7x33mm scope:

I bought a 10/22 sporter (deluxe). As seen below.
I had a 20" Green mountain SS barrel sitting around for the last 10 years. I had planned to re barrel my 10/22 target rifle but I like how the factory barrel shoots so I left it.
I've had the idea of yet another target rifle only this time with a nice classic walnut stock. I've been thinking about this one for a number of years now. It finally came together. Here's the completed rifle. I will have to get a VQ hammer though to lower the trigger weight.
The scope is an older Falcon 4.5-18X I had sitting around. I was lucky and had a set of rings that I recently took off another scope which happened to be perfect. I'll have to see how it shoots, but I'm happy with how it's turned out.

The barrel was specifically chosen as DLask designed it to shoot the 36 grain copper ammo. It shoots the dirty bird 36 grain copper hollow points like match ammo. I was really happy with how this one turned out. It's a great little 10/22. I need to get a VQ hammer for it though to bring down the trigger weight.

My two 10/22's. A standard 50th anniversary 10/22 and a Tactical 10/22 Takedown. Both have been worked over by me and have the following done to them
Removed overspray from inside reciever and smoothed
Bolt contact areas polished and deburred including firing pin.
Guide rod polished
Bolt handle contact areas polished
Triggers on both have been worked over by me. Non-takedown trigger=1lbs. 14oz. Takedown trigger=2.5lbs. Both pass the mallet test.
Added trigger overtravel screws not pictured
Auto bolt drop
Homemade buffer pins
Takedown has an added UTG piccitinny rail and is of course in a Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock
Takedown has a Bushnell TRS-25 mounted and the 50th anniversary has a cheap 4x32 Centrepoint with mildot reticle on top
I've also swapped the stock on the 50th to a standard birch stock.
The idea was to refine the stock package as much as I could rather than throw expensive parts at them.
Wanted to add an idea of weight with the takedown fully kitted out with:
Three extra mags in the stock and the tri-mag. All fully loaded.
25 loose rounds
Aquatabs
Speedy sharp knife sharpener in stock.
Small ferro rod
Olight aaa flashlight
Victorinox Recruit
Allen keys needed for disassembly
Vial of common meds (tylenol, gravol, anti-histamine)
Small fishing kit.
Spare batteries for both the red dot and flashlight.
