We just got our first shipment of some very beautiful rifle chassis' from MDT. These were MDT's original LSS chassis' for the Ruger 10/22 that we made some changes to so we could call it our own. Custom fit to our TUF-22 receiver they come with both the custom inletting for the TUF-22TX barrel nut as well as the rear tang hold-down for both the TUF-22 & TUF-22TX. These will come in your choice of Black, Magpul FDE & Magpul Stealth Grey to match the more common furniture choices.

We are selling these 'a la carte' meaning you will have to add your own pistol grip, buffer tube and butt stock. This is simply because no two builds will be the same and we don't want people to have to pay for parts they won't use. (and who doesn't have a few spare pistol grips laying around anyways right ?) The rear hold-down block comes with the chassis and is used with both our original DAR-22TX and our new TUF-22 / TUF-22TX receivers.

Question : Will a standard Ruger 10/22 fit into the chassis ?

Answer : Yes. It may not fit with the same precision as our receivers but it will work.

Question : Are they awesome ?

Answer : Yes they are other me, yes they are.

*Currently we will not be selling these on our website until early / mid next week. We are just waiting for the trigger guard section to finish running and get anodized.

*MDT Skeleton Carbine Stock is NOT included. Shown for reference only so you can see how fantastic it looks on the chassis ( :

From your comments on custom precision fitting in the chassis will there be any issues using a Boyd's SS Evolution Ruger 10/22 stock with the TUF-22? I was considering using a Kidd 762 silver 0.870" fluted barrel for this build as well. Thanks!

Nope, not at all. The dimensions of the barreled action are exactly the same as our DAR-22. The only drawback would be that you could not use the rear hold down but otherwise it will be a drop-in fit.

They look great, but I wish the buffer tube was inline and not on an angle. It would look a bunch better and not look like it got bent.

We tried the original LSS chassis and with a proper cheek weld your eye is far too high and you would need tall scope rings. We angled the butt stock by a few degrees so that most standard scopes and red dots have a much more natural line when you get a proper cheek weld to the butt stock.

For us, when thinking of a precision rifle, ergonomics come before looks. If it fits well it will allow you to shoot better. That isn't an opinion it is a fact.

Everyone is invited to come and see us in Merritt at the CRPS second week of August. We plan to have a few TUF-22s there that you can see, handle and shoot. I will bring one in the 'Basic' configuration and one in a decked out 'Precision' config.

going to need to see a picture of this set up

You bet I'll post the pics. It's going to be a bit to get everything together but I'll have the Evolution SS next week. It's the royal blue (blue/silver) color. I'm going get the TUF receiver cerakoted in matte silver to match the barrel and the Nikon Monarch 3 scope (matte silver) with Warne mounts (matte silver) I'm going to use. Just waiting for what Dlask can supply for the parts or cerakote... ;)
