Youtube Deletes Bloke on the Range account without prior warning.

Just got this from Bloke:
About 10 minutes ago I got a message stating that BotR had been terminated for "repeated or serious violations of YouTube community guidelines".
I subsequently got an e-mail stating that my K41/43 vid somehow violated the guidelines, and that it was a first warning (after a complete deletion???? WTF?)

I have sent the following text to YouTube

My account has suddenly been terminated without any warning for alleged violation of the community guidelines. To my knowledge no such guidelines have been broken, and I have not received any prior notification of any such breaches. After this termination (not before), I received an e-mail stating that the video "Zielfernrohrkarabiner 31/43: the second Swiss K31 sniper rifle with a periscope telescopic sight" breaches guidelines without explaining how. Reading the guidelines I do not see how this video infringes them in any way. This e-mail stated that the alleged breach was a first warning, yet my account has been suspended for "multiple or severe violations". Furthermore, all of my recent videos (including the one mentioned above) have been monetised without problems either automatically or following a first appeal. How can a video which was monetised suddenly be deemed a community violation? Please reinstate my channel immediately or I will be seeking legal advice.

I would be grateful if you could publicise this far and wide and get the entire GunTube loving community up in arms about this. Oh, and please write firm but complaints to YouTube.
 
I got flagged for a shooting video I had posted,all of mine are private and just for friends and family. I hadnt set it to private and either the YT logaritm caught it or someone saw it and complained. It was literally just me and my wife shooting a marlin at some plates on our land.
There is little recourse even the big channels like Hickok that actually have a YT liason haveva tough time and anyone under a million subs its just emails to a general account.
 
My guess, they are playing games. Probably randomly targeting firearms channels to try and pick off "easy" targets. He will most likely have to have a lengthy conversation on the phone in person.

Most small time creators would not have the time or re-sources to fight it. Hopefully Bloke manages to get it back.
 
All my vids (small selection shared with friends, IDPA events, etc.) got nuked just a couple days ago. All gone, no explanation.
 
That's what King George III thought until the Boston Tea Party. Few year's later he had one less colony to tax.

Boston Tea Party was caused by Cheap Indian (actual India) tea being imported when many of the American industrialists/investors owned shares in the more expensive Chinese produced Tea (up until that point Tea had only been produced in China). It is made out to be this big 'no taxation without representation thing' when in reality it was some rich Americans who couldn't compete with the cheap Indian Tea costs who needed to dispose of their competition. They then used patriotism to hide there anti-capitalism ways.

And here's me thinking they just wanted to be free of the tyranny of a far-distant king and his government who saw them all as a source of revenue, without any recognition or recompense. Just shows ya, eh?
