Shadow 2 owners: Did your gun come with two safetys?

I have been watching a few tweaking videos for the Shadow 2 pistol and a lot of them talk about installing the "other" safety that came with their pistol.

I understand what they are (one is a slim safety and the other is winged) but I didn't find one in my box.

Is it supposed to be there or is it just a US thing or...?

Also, which one do you prefer?

I know you don't even bother with it in ISPC so I guess the majority of you opted for the slim one but I was wondering if it would work as a thumb rest given it's location and shape.

I see some people shooting this way with theirs so what do you guys do?

I bought mine from CRAFM,they installed the extended left safety before shipping(and also sent along the old safety as well).THis was about 9 months ago.I dont think shadows automativally ship with the second safety anymore.It is nice having the safety as a thumb rest.

The new ones don’t but they come wihave h better mags. Now only the US ones come with them

I have seen some older Urban Grey models in stock that still come with the old magazines and both safeties. Or you can buy the extended safety for $60CDN from certain site sponsors.

Can you point to someone in particular? I have only seen vendors charging $90 and up. I even have a want to buy ad in the EE and haven't been able to buy any at $60 or under.

I'm lucky enough to have a Shadow 2 as does my wife. Both came with the extra safety and I prefer the larger one over the slim. Very easy to change them out too.

I have an urban grey that is the newer frame but came with the old magazines and no extended safety. The mec gar mags are worlds better although the factory ones function with no issue.
