Literally ANY ammo runs fine through mine, though accuracy varies. Barnaul, MFS, Norinco, Federal, American Eagle, IVI, etc. No issues with any of them. So I buy whatever bulk is on sale. Mostly steel-cased 55gr, and better stuff when I can find a deal on it.

Generally because it's cheap. I prefer the heavier stuff, but 55gr is usually what is on sale for the best price.

Well my rifle showed up. I'm super happy with it. I picked up some aim point slip up iron sights to go with it. they were so friggen tight on the rail I needed to use a dead blow to put them on. seemed odd to me. the small attached rail on the bottom that it comes with they fit fine. are these top rails suppose to be this tight? Is there anywhere I can find the dimension on this rail and measure it to compare or is this the norm?

What kind of Irons (BUIS) did you get? Aimpoint doesnt make Irons.......

Generally I sight in for 62gr green tip, but typically shoot 55gr brass as it goes on sale now for as little or less than steel case in bulk. Groupings barely change. I did however run a test of 8 or so shelf brands, ranging from $15-$32 per box of 20rds to see what, if any difference there is. Let me tell you, the old idium that rifles like specific ammo rings true. My IUR tolerates 62gr green tip as thats what its supposed to be good for and what my Elcan is deaigned for. Prints well. But Fusion and Winchester White Box primt exceptionally well for my rifle.
