My stoeger has always failed to eject. I have changed ejectors and extractors. Doesn’t matt what loads I use either trap loads or hunting loads. This is a very common problem I have seen. I was wondering if anyone knows the remedy. Thanks

Please describe exactly what happens when you say fails to eject.
I'm thinking of things which have been there since the gun was new. Is there too much grease or binding in the bolt return spring? It's an inertia gun so no worries about gas cylinders. Does it matter how firmly the gun is seated on your shoulder when firing? I've read that chambers can be rough and cause too much friction when extracting - polish the chamber to resolve it. Does it require a break-in period with a number of heavy loads?

Yes more details of what is happening needed . Does the fired shell get extracted from the chamber ? Is it stovepiping the fired shell ? ( ejected part way and caught by the bolt ) or jammed by the loaded cartridge trying to be feed into the chamber ?
So the extractor grabs the back of the hull and brings it out of the chamber but it fails to eject and sits in the breach on the carrier. I feel like the ejector doesn’t kick it out or the bolt doesn’t come back far enough for the ejector do its job.i have serval inertia shotguns and I know there is a break in period. This gun is well beyond its break in stage. I also thought maybe the chamber was undersized creating friction and not letting the hull move freely. I’m not sure. I work at a gun club and I see this problem time and time again with these stoegers. These problems happen reguardless or ammo. 2 3/4 trap loads or 3” waterfowl loads. Doesn’t matter.
I'm not familiar with this gun - what/where is the 'ejector'? Most pumps and semis I can think of have a little knob or projection which the fired hull runs into to effect the ejection. Yours has an ejector which has to physically move?
Grouse man The ejector is on the wall of the receiver. Look in through the ejection port and you are looking at it. Yes It physically moves. The Hull comes out of the chamber from the extractor pulling it out and when it reaches the ejection port the ejector is supposed to kick it out the breach. Supposed to

Sell it and buy a reputable brand. Buddy of ours had one. Bloody thing would never work right. Always jammed and unable to get a follow up shot on geese. He finally got rid of it, bought an SX3 and never looked back.
