Any machinist could shorten the thing to any length you want. I'm close to K-W, if you'f be willing to ship it or drive down I'd be happy to do the work for you. Lots of places cerakoating I think.

If you look at the muzzle end of a PPSh shroud its a bit more complicated than it looks.
Apart from having to relocate the sling loop and front sight base and guard, the front end of the shroud forms a muzzle brake. There is a barrel muzzle support pressed and welded in place, along with the angled front baffle.

Don't shorten the muzzle end. Cut a section out of the middle.
