Looks like the supply of TT33 are starting to dry up.

I wanted to pick one up before the price starts to climb, but having trouble finding a Russian version.

Any one help me out?

Anyone with experience with this website ?

How is it ?

How high or low are closing price usually ?

How are their fees / service ?

I have bought a few guns on icollector, especially from Switzer. The firearms is a live online auction - you can make your maximum bid ahead of time and hope it isn't outbid, but I find it better to follow it live.
Like any auction, you have to know fair market price and what you are willing to pay or be swept up it the excitement of the auction! There is also shipping and, if I remember correctly, a 15% buyers premium and tax. Deals are still possible though. Some guns definitely sell for too much money though.
Service is excellent.

Thanks for the info. I'll follow the june 20th auction for sure.

I have watched Switzers for a couple of years Tokarevs sell for outrageous prices. Even SKS go over $350 plus premiums. Best deals are on older hunting rifles of quality or shotguns. I still regret looking one tokarev that had a unique rainbow style blued finish. It was awesome. It went for over $450

Switzer's is excellent to deal with, but as with all auctions, know how much you want to spend on an item ahead of time and don't go over that amount.

I reload for mine, using 110gr bullets. Feels more like a 9mm, not so snappy like the standard ammo.

Never fired corrosive through mine. Just a box and half of S&B 85gr, and a thousand or so reloads.

Tokarev in Switzers auction 1942 is not with the original slide. Original slide should have wider serrations instead of the tight serrations seen..it is refurbed with a new slide. If that matters to you so won't be matching

try extreme gun shooting centre in Winnipeg , Russian TT's on sale for 209 plus shipping, got one there in the spring, matching and in good shape

Wait till the exchange rate comes down. There are literally millions of these floating around but the margins are not good enough for anyone to want to sell them to you.
