Dillon universal decapping Die set up

Does anyone use the Dillon universal Decapping Die ? I bought one and it came with no instructions , do you set it up differently for pistol or rifle ? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Usually you just set up the die so the shell plate bottoms out on the base of the die at full stroke.

Adjust the sizing die by screwing the die
body down until it contacts the shellplate
and snug the lock ring. The decap assembly
should be screwed fully into the die at all
times. Fig 2.
