Shot placement is key. Had a buddy pile drive one with a 300 and hit in the front shoulder. Mistake. Just make sure you try to use something that will not turn into shrapnel inside.

I hit one with the .300 @250 yds in the front shoulder and it exited out the other shoulder, speer hot-cor.

As I recall he was using the uber cheapy federals. Pretty much lost the whole front quarter to blood shot.
