Note that the safety is opposite to that of other HK pistols. I think I prefer the orientation of the P8.
It’s just a USP with a conventionally rifled barrel. Shoots identical to a USP, grip feels like a 2x4, and it’s big; not Mk23 big, but still quite large for a 9mm. It’s typical H&K, built like a tank but if you need spares be prepared to wait and fork out $.
Rock solid, the P8 has a few small changes for the Bundeswehr like the safety is opposite (down SAFE, up FIRE) and no decocker. Also has land and groove rifling rather than polygonal. I'm trying to remember but I think they come with luminous sights aswell rather than standard dots.
