My BCL 102 - Help me make it a sub MOA machine!

My point exactly, this platform is solely designed for putting rounds down the pipe, and lots of them, not for accuracy.
My AR's are knights, and they can't even hold a candle to my varmint rem 700 in the same 223 cal. Not even a contest.
And if I pull out one of my cooper riles (which cost about the same as the knights AR), the comparison would be beyond laughable.

anyone that's says a BCL-102 can outperform a simple 700 rem in accuracy, has serious delusional problems, along with zero credibility. But hey, go on and listen to the same guys that are slapping Huge spoilers on their Honda civics, installing a k&n filter and claiming to give the Z06 around the corner a run for its money.

No doubt by changing everything you can improve accuracy, but by no means sub moa. I've owned a BCL-102, 2nd Gen, I know how poor they really are.

At the risk of feeding the trolling, If you have accurate bolt guns and Knight’s Armament ARs you should know that your KACs will keep up to your bolt rifles. With the right ammo.
If they aren’t, it’s your ammo or your shooting.

The only things an AR really needs is a floated, exceptional barrel and the corresponding ammo.

A comfortable stock, glass and trigger will assist the driver in obtaining the best from their shooting ability.

Wise words. I've got mine to a MOA and have had 1 group .74. I have an AR10 that consistently shoots .5 moa out to 600m and it was a lot more than a bcl102 in price. At the end of the day though? Moa and NR is not bad.

This. Bolt guns are forgiving as less forces are at work. Gas guns require different practices and accentuate any mistakes you make. If your KAC rifles are not shooting sub moa with it prefered load, its not the gun or the ammo...

But that’s impossible! I would hope that we can get a semi-auto to shoot as well as a manual action by now. It’s not exactly new technology. I’m confident I can make mine shoot when it gets here... eventually. For me it’s a dream come true, so much aftermarket. Sometimes I wonder if I like building them more than shooting them. I have an absolute new .308cal BCL-102 from presale 2, only slowly cycled the action twice (actual) so I count that as unfondled. Never opened or pressed pins even.
No rounds loaded, basically got it in the mail, looked at it, cycled, put it in the safe. Just not for me.

As others have said throw away all the BCL parts. Start fresh.

In my opinion Krieger makes some of the best barrels. They can be supplied with matched JP Enterprises bolt. They can build pretty much whatever you want for a barrel. They are not cheap. Jerry at Mystic Precison can get them.

Bolt carrier: JP Enterprises or V7 weapon systems Tianium
Handguard: Options are somewhat limited because of the Armalite thread, most people seem to go with SLR rifle works or Midwest industries.
Gas Block: get an adjustable one, I like SLR rifleworks
Trigger: too many options / types and it’s a personal preference thing.
Stock: same as trigger

Realistically with a medium profile barrel and choosing lightweight parts everywhere else you’ll be in the 7-8lb mark for the rifle. For reference the LaRue OBR that was mentioned previous is 9.5lb with a 16.1” barrel.

Hey guys, i just received my gen 2 102 the other day. First thing to go on was a Nightforce SHV 4-14x56 with Burris PEPR mount. I may end up switching it out with the Nightforce 4-14x50F1 but i'm still undecided. Overall appearance is better than i expected other than the charging handle removing the cerakote after pulling on it ONCE. As for performance i'm hoping to get it out next weekend to see how it shoots.

Im looking for advice on how to make this a light, reliable, sub moa rifle. I am a firm believer on spending the money up front for quality parts. I would have no issue stripping it down to the bare bones receiver and starting from the ground up. If you guys could help me build my shopping list it would be much appreciated.

Customer did this with the rig and some Hrn 147gr ammo at 800yds.. 4rds. McGowen AR10/DPMS spec in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Not sure what the fuss is all about... sub MOA AR type rifles have been around for a VERY LONG time. Use proper MATCH Barrels which cost money and learn how to reload properly (sorry, shooting surplus isn't going to help).

Use good high mag optics, learn how to shoot and you get good results.....
