Hi I’ve been given a box of parts from a buddy who dropped them off then left. Out of curiosity I was wondering if the well informed group on here could enlighten me. I’ve got an idea about some FN parts and maybe AK possibly an enfield bolt. I’ll post a pic and see what comes up. I’ll be able
to ask buddy when I run into him again. Cheers

I see a Mauser bolt, magwell, butt plate and front barrel band, the sling swivels look Enfield to me but I could be wrong. As for the rest I am sure someone on here knows.

Whole bunch of Fn parts, including inch trigger guards, mag bottoms, pistons and springs. Look like some smg mag followers as well and a complete Mauser action of some type. Bottom left is possible the rotary dial off a C1 sight.

Grizz

yep an FN FAL safety sear and half of the pin that holds the upper on a FN FAL ,a part of an FN FAL rear sight and looks like the front sight guards for an FNC2, FN FAL piston and springs, FN FAL handguards and butt stock, FNFAL trigger guards and magazine bottom plates

add

stirling smg C1a1 , trigger parts, end cap, recoil spring, mag springs, followers, 1mag base plate.
browning high power , lanyard ring.
Enfield sear
fn C1a1 ,, parts safety sear, mag follower , gas pistons, springs, wood ,etc.
Mauser, bolt ,barrel band, butt plate, mag assembly.

don't recognize the part in the last picture with the two bent pieces of metal with a screw in the middle ? middle row above the enfield mag release.

SMG mag springs, C1 mag springs, maybe L1A1, C1 rear sight, C1 lower inner parts, C1 butt stocks, looks like new pistol grips still in the wrap, C1 trigger guards (wood incert), C1 tool, half a C1 pivot pin. The front sight guards are for a C1A1 8L series, gas pistons c/w spring, looks like C7 mag pouches 82 pattern, Misc M98 mauser parts/ bolt trigger guard. M96 front bayonet band, SMF/C1 pull throughs. Lee enfield parts, oil bottles. Parker hale cleaning rods for the section cleaning kits, other PH items, other stuff/oils bottles. Very cool nice collection.

OK, so how come one of the piston springs is longer than the other ?

C1A1D NAVY

Select Fire C1A1 for boarding parties.

Longer spring to slow down cycle rate due to full auto capability with light barrel and possibly had something to do if I recall, the sniper version C1.

It has been a while, but I do remember the two lengths.
