BCL102 - Captain hook stock

Just wondering if anyone has figured out who makes this stock? Not terribly important, just curious.

It is now on the recycling garbage truck. Mine was broken, I dumped it in the recycling bin.

Well, that's not good! Where did it break? As I contemplate what I need to go hunting this year, I'm debating whether to replace it. There is only one, less than ideal,way to mount a sling back there and I'd like a recoil pad.

I know its a subjective thing, but personally I hate the look of the "hook" style stock. Also it looks snaggy (although not really operating)

it is really flimsy, I can see the latch lever being the first thing to break in the field, get a mil spec Magpul stock and don't worry about it. As for a recoil pad? i wouldn't bother at all, the buffer system soaks up a lot of recoil compare with a bolt action or other semi autos.

Not sure what is on the BCL102 as I don't have one but MFT (Mission First Tactical) makes open/hook type stocks...

I will just suggest you go with one of my favorites, the lmt sopmod wich is super comfy but a bit heavy or the magpul ctr for a lighter but a little less comfortable than the sopmod.

Both these stocks have qd cups (unless you have a gen1 sopmod)

like people have said, they are garbage. I mortar cleared once on a wood bench and shattered mine.

Alrighty then. I'll start shopping for a replacement. If the damn thing is going to be that fragile, its not going to do me much good hunting.

This is likely a little too heavy for hunting, however, I really like my Fab Defence stock
