Where to get good AK Mags???

Where can I get good AK Mags???

Got an M10X with only one mag and would like a few more. I see Magpul makes a couple but I don't know if they are any good.

Do you guys have any recommendations and who has good ones?
 
Magpul pma gen 3 AK mags are my fav, other then bakelite mags (which are hard to source). I prefer reinforced plastic now to steel mags

That's genuinely too bad. Any idea where they are hanging up? In theory they should either fit or be very close to fitting. The locking points, front and back, are the same geometry as AK mags.
 
I have 6 T81 mags and 4 fit in my SKS-D. The other two I had to file the under side of the rear locking tab just a little bit. They run without issue. I don't see why they wouldn't in an M10x.

AK mags don't work in a T81 because the front tab is too tall, but being as the front lug on the T81 mag is smaller, it will still fit the larger slot of an AK type mag well.
 
Im sure with some grinding you could get T81 mags to work. They go in but will not lock completely in.

I personally dont want to bugger up T81 mags when I have a ton of AK mags already for the m10
 
T81 mags definitely work in SKS-KD. Some pseudo-knowledgeable ppl were trying to convince me some time ago that T81 mags are just for T81-such a b.. sh..ers

IRG had BHO Croatian-metal, but they don't have them now :(

Metal mags is the way to go, plastic, no matter how good it is will wear more than most metal mags

Yeah we arent talking about the sks. We are talking about T81 mags fitting in the m10x.

Metal mags would be better in a battle scenario but as for run and gun and plinking I'll stick with the magpul as it doesnt weigh me down as much

SKS-D, SKS-KD and M10x are all designed (or adapted for the KD) to take AK mags so if T81 mags fit one, they should fit the others.

Well I have about a dozen T81 mags that will not lock into my m10x (and about 40 ak mags that's all fit), so I guess I dont know what I'm talking about then

But I'm glad the T81 mags work in your sks, so the T81 mags work in your m10x!?!??!

yes, in principle.
i think bflies should apply more force to fit T81 nags into his m10x and then shoot video in this regard
i.e. stop being gentle with your m10x

I think maybe pechengag should put your money where your mouth is and buy them yourself to try out instead of thinking you know what you are talking about to people who actually own, have and use them
