Just got my first gun so I put some of my toys on it...

VERY good choice for a first gun! Can't go wrong with an 11.5" CC MRR. I like your vertical grip/handstop setup better than mine.

If you have NODs, yes you're going to want IR devices. If you don't, probably not.

Finally settled on a sling for my carbine from Gear Dynamics. No frills with an aluminum slide buckle, and made in Canada.
Nice.
Is the lower Krylon or Rustoleum? Looks like a nice thin even coat either way.
I have a lower I'm going to paint, but I want a thin coat so it doesn't fill up the $hitty engraving job I had done, lol!
Tamiya model paint. A couple coats and it's pretty decent.

My most recent spare-parts-bin-mutt-gun. Colt Canada lower with 14.5" Armalite upper.
I've recently busy been building clones of all the cool spec-ops type rifles that I sort of wanted to go back to simpler times, so I built a clone of my very first AR - A 14.5" Norinco CQ-A with carry handle, lol!
14.5" Norinco CQ-A purchased from Lever Arms, modded shot the hell out of it and sold it to a guy who abused it even more.
Clone of my first rifle, except all US/Canadian parts.
My 3 yr old wanted to help me install the side sling swivel:
I think I'll leave this one as is. I was tempted to throw rails, lights and and a red dot on it, but then it would just end up like all my other ARs.

I have a 3x20 I have no idea what to do with:
Looks good on a fix carry handle upper. When I was 4 or 5, my grandfsther gave me an M16 toy with triangular hand guards and it came with a scope that looked like this one.
Might have to build a clone of that old toy, lol!
