Does anyone know how durable the slings are on these guns? Would an SKS sling work?

No, the swivel on the reciever end is very small and a soviet style SKS or AK sling will not work. However I have found that the included sling works great and has held up fine. I received my rifle last year in the first batch.

Got mine package with everything ordered.
I used Google email, I thought TI didn't send me notification, in fact they did. Email was automatically gone to Promotion folder which was intelligent ly create d by Google.
There sitting the notification email until I found it today.

Field strip, Boiling water down the barrel and on the piston and cylinder if you wish. Clean as any other rifle and reassemble.
Corrosive ammo is easy to deal with.

Any issues if the water hit the wooden parts or got into the trigger assembly? I don't have an air compressor to dry the gun out but i do have a powerfull electric air blower that i use to clean my electronics (similar to compressed air cans). Do you think that's ok?

Just be careful. It's not like your pouring water everywhere.
No need for a compressor. The barrel will dry pretty much immediately. Just run your cleaning patches through and oil.
I use an old kettle. Plug it in and by the time the rifle is stripped the water is boiling.

Anyone else having issues with it cycling? Wasnt expecting a break in period with a Chinese rifle
