BCL 102 stripped receiver set thread

Any of you guys have an issue getting the mag catch to work? I'm barely able to catch a couple threads on the button and managed to get an extra turn in but I still can't get mags to catch. Any ideas of what I can do or do I have a/some parts out of spec?

Go watch on YouTube ‘How to build a AR15 lower receiver present by Larry Potterfield’. If that doesn’t help the. I don’t know what to say.

Use a punch, pencil, etc to push in the mag release. That should allow you to thread it on.

so, trying to clarify things for gen2 receivers:
Barrel - DPMS pattern barrel
Handguard - Armalite pattern handguard
BCG - DPMS Pattern

Is this correct?

Handguard is dpms high with armalite barrel nut, barrel is dpms, nobody knows about the bcg but dpms pattern has worked sometimes and sometimes not
