It"s too hot to do much outside, so I decided to stay in the air conditioning and try out the metal polish I found recently at Canadian Tire. I used it on three different guns and it works great.Top to bottom: Ruger GP100 6" barrel, 357 Mag.
SAM 1911 .9mm
Kimber Custom II Two Tone, .45ACP

When I was into customizing trucks I used to polish my chrome rims with autosol.
How did you apply it to the gun?

Got a 44 mag revolver on its way here and wouldn't mind if it blinged a bit.

Looks great, what’s the process?

Squeeze a bit out of the tube like toothpaste onto a microfibre cloth wrapped around your first finger and just rub it in.When the stuff is dry buff it with a clean spot on the cloth.Repeat until you're satisfied with the result. The cloth should get black when you are rubbing it in.

Been using this product for years on my Harley and I haven't found anything to date that works better and I've tried a lot. It's great stuff and works on most things that you want to make shine!
