Yup! Red rifle military spec compared to North American commercial or military spec are very very different. I got no problem with these rifles for what they are or what they represent. Mines great!

Idk, I've yet to whitness a bent Soviet Firearm....
Pretty sure it's just shotty Chinese workmanship.
Have you been to America? Read thier forums, what they love to hate about their Ak's are the exact same thing people are experiencing with the T81

They are still getting through the pre-order but once that is done they will start shipping the recently ordered ones, or so i have been told. I ordered mine in early June and am still waiting. By my count they are shipping ones from about mid-May so should hopefully get my notice before end of the week and if so they are pretty much caught up.

A thousand dollars for a bent rifle, let alone milspec craftsmanship seems like a waste of money to me. I can buy something a lot nicer that with strait barrel for a grand or a couple more hundo. I feel bad for people getting a bent rifle. I wouldnt want one.
range report on my T81 folder. got my rifle Friday afternoon. striped it,, inspected it and cleaned it. When to the range Saturday and put 300 or so rounds threw it. and they only malfunction was cased by user error. all mags functioned. the only things missing from my order are my quadrail which TI emailed me and said it was going to mailed out when they get more from there supplier and the sling which is M.I.A. Email has been sent out about the sling and just waiting on a reply from TI for this coming week.
On a side note when setting the yardage on your rear sight. Is the number supposed to face you or face up towards the sky. Besides the cleaning kit and oil bottle there is a tool for adjusting the front sight and one more tool that is pentagon on one end with a flat spot right behind where the pentagon ends and round rod on the other anyone know what that tool is fore.
