It's an M-LOK handguard. You can buy a stud that attaches to the M-LOK slots.

Stag has a proprietary cut to the upper and lower that is a slant instead of a radius. Because of this the firearm is deemed not a variant of an AR10. It uses special take down pins etc also so any AR10 upper or lower will not work.

As for will it be banned? Who knows. But if its non restricted and that is going to change you can sell it to mike from canmore for a good price. Without a registry they will need to track him down and all his collection and assume he complies. I sold a tavor 3 years ago privately because the liberals won and I was sure it would be banned. I didn't know about mike back then.

They could ban all semis at anytime. Its a gamble you need to figure out if you are OK with. But they are legal now so Id rather have fun while im young.

Current schedule sees them shipping from Stag Arms in 3-4 weeks.

Not really a pre-order. More a way to purchase and reserve position in delivery.

How it got its status. Arms East worked with Stag Arms over the years as the AR-10 came to be. We encouraged it's production. When the production gun was ready we applied for the FRT, submitted firearms and our thoughts on the matter, and a a long time and much back and forth later, the lab correctly issued our non-restricted FRT.

It does seem to good to be true, but in this case, it is true. Stag Arms makes a hell-of-an AR10. We really hope you all buy one

Is it just me or are pickings pretty slim for DPMS ar10 handguards in Canada? I thought I wanted the bones, but now not so sure.

We have examined (and sold) many 308 rails. The new Stag Arm 16" handguard on the complete rifles is strong, light and well designed. The ready to go rifles are compelling products.

well as soon as my receiver set arrives I'll be hard at work in my shop creating my own custom handguard in carbon fiber/aramid.... nothing i see online is anything i wanna put on my rifle and anything i do like is crazy expensive haha
