SEVERAL CALLERS HAVE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE WARRANTY POLICY ON THE BD-38, BD-44 etc....
Its quite simple Marstar is the exclusive importer for the North American market for all firearms manufactured by SSD of Germany.

The factory warranty as well as Marstar's "ironclad warranty" will apply ONLY to firearms imported by Marstar and sold by either Marstar or it's appointed dealers. Gray market imports will NOT be covered by Marstar.

If any doubts or questtions call us....

To all of OUR customers:

Have no fear, just as we have strongly demonstrated in the past, we will look after any problems that MAY arise.

Don't worry John, I haven't sent anyone to you for warranty work and I won't start now. As John stated, he will look after the firearms he imports and we will look after the ones we do.

TSE JR;
I did not mean to upset your firm, I know that your reputation for service is well known and appreciated by your customers.

However I simply wanted to be absolutely clear at the start regarding the factory warranty and in country service.

You may recall that we picked a lot of complaints and service questions from Norinco owners who had purchased from other than Marstar or it's dealers. It was very time consuming explaining procedures over and over again.

Hope you understand,

John

John,

I really do understand your point... Your firm also has a stellar rep for standing behind your goods. As I indicated in my PM, we had access to a limited number and thougth it a good go...

Soon enough we'll have to buy more from you... Be kind ! ;)

I got to fire one at the EOHC milshoot last week, and it is one SWEET piece! I fired a full-auto MP-40 in Vegas last year, and the BD-38 felt the same in my hands and when firing (except for the no full-auto, and 5 round mag!). It's a very solid gun - built like a tank!

Cheers!

to sell off part of my milsurp collection and buy one of these or not to... that is the question...?

I hate tough decisions :(

Has anyone bought a BD3008 yet?
