Hey guys I just ordered one of these from a fellow memeber. I’m totally new to the long range game. Just curious what kinda ammo people have had luck with. I imagine with a 1&8 twist it should preform decent with everything. Was thinking of trying hornady whitail 129grn just cause the price and to get some brass for reloading.

Both the Hornady 129 and 140 shot well in the rifle, but, the best was a 140 ge Nosler BTHP with 32gr of Varget.
I did see good results at 34 and 34.5 grs of Varget as well and suspect it may be a better long range load, but, no way to test here.

What range where you shooting at with that load?
No where I can shoot past 100mts here, that's why I sold the rifle, it got boring shooting .2 and smaller groups(.116 at 100 yards with 32 grs Varget and a 140gr Nosler hpbt). In the right hands the rifle can shoot and as I said there was another window around 34.5 grs with the same bullet that shot almost as well as the 32gr load.
