Don’t wait to buy hunting licences

This year, hunters are advised to purchase their hunting licences and game seals prior to November 19 and keep them in a safe place, according to the 2018 Hunting Regulations Summary, released in mid-April. This is due to a restricted sales period that will take effect during the transition to the new fishing and hunting licensing service, which will be launched in late November.
After the launch takes place, only select hunting licence products will be available until Dec. 31, 2018. Deer licences are one product that will not be available in the period from the late November launch until year’s end.
