nah trust. I believe he got 3 of them for 1800.

I dont cruise the site enough to find those good deals! Normally they are only on for less then 6 hours.

Those deals dont last 6min unless posted in the early AM hours. Some of deals I have gotten are not worth telling because folks wouldn't believe me.

I was once in the market for a $3k optic, and a bundle with the optic and a $3000 rifle popped up on the ee for $3000 shipped and insured. I jumped on it, and flipped the rifle for $2800, then later on when I decided the optic wasn't for me I sold it for another $2k as the market for them had softened significantly.

Maybe someone here can help me out. I read before that the original polymer hand guard does not fit on the DMR version. Also heard you can do a little modification to it to get it to fit. Anyone have insight? I want to get ride of the cheese grater it came with, and really want to go the polymer one instead.

No one?

Yes I remember my Specter DR for 1650 :) Then didnt you get one for 1400 ? ...lol... all this means is we spend to much time on EE...lol...

I might buy NR ACR but want to find out about warranty and support before I pull the trigger.

Any words of wisdom?

I've been shooting the ACR since shortly after they became available in Canada, I've owned 5 non restricted barrels (three 223, a 6.8SPC, and my 300 Blackout conversion I built). I don't know how many thousand rounds I've put through them (way more through my first one) and never had a failure of any kind that wasn't caused by ammo or magazine not fully inserted. I would order a spare firing pin and bolt, and maybe the action spring and op rod spring as spares if you're really worried but parts can be ordered even if they are slow to get here.

It's also the only black rifle I've shot that with a quality barrel can rival the HK SL8 for accuracy. My 300BLK conversion is shooting about 0.9 moa pretty consistently with handloads.

Man, those look good.

Thanks. I’m most likely going to go flat tan, but after doing DPM patterns I’m torn because I really like the look of them. But all that masking, ugh!

What are you going to use for paint? I've tried Krylon on a couple things and don't find that it lasts long enough to be worth the effort. I would try getting it hydro-dipped or use Cerakote or some other real coating.
Arma-coat is just down the road from my place and they sell do it yourself kits. I had him do a Rem 700 300win barreled action and it turned out great.

im going to use this again: Aervoe Military Vehicle & Recreation Camouflage Paint ive mentioned this paint before but its super durable. i've actively tried to rub the paint off and be rough with it because i wanted a worn out look, but it just stays on. i highly recommend it if you want a durable spray paint.

hell look at my AR. i've poured gun solvents, cleaners and even isopropyl alcohol onto it to try to weaken the paint without outright stripping it and still nothing. the two top ones are aervoe. i haven't used the swiss near as much as the AR so the paint is still "new"
