The 760/7600 Club

...does anyone know of the existence of 10 round mags for the 7600 in 308Win?

American made, there is/was two unreliable options. One was K product or something like that.

Seemingly the only reliable option is Lucky13 from Australia. I was very interested in their 7600 extended mag release too. They make a lot of great products for the 7600, T3 and others.

Lucky13 recently established a US distribution with Cleaver firearms. I was told they were in touch with Wanstall for Canadian distribution but no news yet.

You may bump my thread hoping Wanstall won't ignore you like they ignored my inquiry: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1577775-Lucky13-gun-parts?highlight=lucky13

For those in the know, which variants of this rifle are suitable for a leftie based on an ambidextrous stock? My brother has been thinking of picking up a back up rifle and he is a left hand shot. I've seen a few 760's with no Monte Carlo cheek piece but I have seen some pump remmy' with a right hand Monte Carlo stock. Are they deluxe versions? Thanks

And to quote an anti, why do you need a rifle at all......
I am not an "anti", nor do I appreciate mag restrictions. :)

Speaking from a purely practical standpoint ........ A ten round mag on any hunting rifle adds much weight, affects handling adversely, and makes an otherwise handy rifle cumbersome.

Any stock without a RH cheek piece would work. The MC type stock should work fine as long as there is no cheek piece. There are (or used to be) left hand safeties available form Uncle Mikes or other supplier that escapes my aging memory.

If I may ask, what model of Williams FP sight are you using? I am not aware of a sight specifically made for the Remington 760... Is that the one for Winchester 94 / Marlin 36? Looks pretty slick. It would work well on my 7400. Wrong club, I know... :)

I believe Williams made a specific foolproof sight for the 760/740 models. Don't know if they make a foolproof model for the 7400 but they do make a wgrs peepsight that fits the rear scopebase holes. The foolproof sight in my opinion seems to be sturdier . Hope this helps.

The ones I have are marked the FP-740AP. Will work on the 760, 740, 742, 7600, 7400 but require drilling two holes on the side of the receiver.
