Hello all
I wonder if anyone would know what i got here by these numbers

Im thinking of selling it - fired 5 rounds through it and its sat on a shelf 2 years

The guy i traded it with stained the stock and fitted the camo sleeve and tripod
but i have no idea of what it is or what its worth

Grateful if one of you experts could help?

These markings come from Bayou La Batre, Alabama.

There are several reports that Bubba himself marked these rifles.

Careful...he might take you seriously. But I am confused...I thought Russian rifles were 'red' and this one is clearly green.

Under all that bling it's a pretty standard Izvesk Mosin Nagant 91/30 made in 1943. Depending on whether it's matching or not and if it cleans up (assuming it's worth more in full military configuration, but who am I to judge), what...$250 to $300?

The modifications are going to hurt the value. Most people want unaltered milsurps. My guess would be $150-$200 on the price, but i think these have gone up recently...

I do appreciate the info here - yes personally i would not have changed it from stock as there are plenty of drop in stock kits available but it does shoot surprisingly well on those legs.

If anyone is interested in making an offer PM me - id like to get back whats in it but i do understand market forces prevail

Is the bipod screwed into the wood? The green paint could be stripped but if there are screw holes that could detract from a restoration.
