BC region 3 mule deer limit of 1!?

So it was brought to my attention yesterday that the new mule deer limit in region 3 is 1. Now I'm not talking about the 1 mule buck from all interior regions change, I'm talking about the total number of mule deer from region 3... its now 1 buck, 1 antlerless, total 1 for region 3.

I have a doe draw in region 3, and was planning on going up there in October for the any buck season... guess Im going elsewhere for October now.
 
I have not read through the new synopsis in detail yet but if that is true I'll have to let my hunting buddy know as he pulled a doe LEH in 3-26 (third year in a row the bastard).

Its really easy to miss. The whole section explaining deer bag limits and licenses is green, so a little green 1 in the middle of it really blends in. I have literally posted a screenshot online in a different thread and didn't even notice it until my friend pointed it out last night... Here is that screenshot again, I can barely see it and I know where to look...

Actually went through with it? Was this one of the proposed changes the put forth last fall or whatever? I remember the 1 buck from all interior regions combined, but had I known this would happen I wouldn't have even put in for does in region 3, I'd have headed to 5...
 
I drew a doe tag in region 3 as well. The way I look at it is if I don't fill my buck tag by Oct 31 I get a bonus chance on a doe in Nov for a little meat. I'll still take it.

That makes no sense not going.
Obviously there is an issue with the Mule Deer Population in Region 3.
You have a Doe draw, go and try and fill it and if a Buck presents itself before the doe then...
and before I get up on the High Chair or shall I say bucket ''it aint about killin and filling the freezer...it is more important than that''.
Go , enjoy the outdoors and be better for it.
Thats my .05 worth of opinion.

I see what you're saying, but if I can only harvest 1 mule deer from region 3 I'll probably spend my October in a different region. That way, if I get a buck in October I'll still be able to go doe hunting in November. At any rate I'll still be going hunting in October, Im just thinking of leaving region 3 alone til November... I usually hunt with a buddy (particularly if it's 5+hrs from home) so if we go in October I could just let him take the shot...
