1149.00 last ones we had. should be the same.

Im waiting on a Macabee receiver, then will have the final piece of my Grendel puzzle. I wouldn't hesitate to take a moose with the cartridge with the 100gr Barnes, 130gr Accubond, 125gr Partition, if distances were sensible (200y or closer). With a 123gr ELD, I feel it's a 400y deer load.
Alliant AR Comp looks good, I have an 8lb jug of it and 500pcs of Starline brass
Super interested in 6.5 Grendel for my SLR build, but for now I'm holding off because it doesn't seem like there is a lot of 6.5 Grendel "stuff" here in Canada. Would like to be proven wrong on that point.
Also waiting on my SLR receiver for my lightweight Grendel build. Have a 20" BSF Barrel and a lancer carbon fiber hand guard to keep it around 7lbs with an optic. Going to start load development with Lapua Brass, Hornady 123gr SST's, and IMR 8208 XBR. I've also picked up some Hornady Black factory Grendel ammo. Definitely not a common caliber in Canada currently, but I think the SLR and the new bolt guns will help that!

Got my 527 today and it's light & feels right fer me. The rifle is slim as is the barrel,(Almost pellet gun slim) but that's ok by me.
This will be a stalking rifle and plinkin' device, not a long range varmint machine. You're right about the walnut Clay, decent it be fer sure.

I'm currently building a 6.5 Grendel SLR for deer. It might also work as a precision-ish rig since the Grendel has great ballistics. Does anyone have a source on ammunition? Can't find much available online that is somewhat inexpensive.
Looks nice, a lot like the one I got last year. I have one suggestion. I don't know how they finished the stock but they are very porous, soaking up anything , try getting a drop of cleaning solvent on it. It took several applications of finishing oil to fill and seal the pores on mine.
In a way I would like a heavier barrel, somewhere in between the slim pencil barrel I have an a full varmite as most of my shooting is off a bench. When I got mine there was no choice and I am happy with it, at least it's light enough to carry and do some stalking if that's what I want to do.

Looks like 2 grendels, 2 creedmoors, 2 260s and three swedes
