Need help with Revolver identification

This old revolver was found in the back of a safe. I thought it was a Victory model in 38S&W but after a little googling I might be wrong.

Any one know have any info for me? Serial number is 70504

It does have the cylinder but any suggestions on where to finds the rest of the parts? Ideally Canadian sources. Have not tried Western Gun parts yet, want to bring them a little more info first.

Maybe S&W model 1917 in .38 caliber?

Managed to get it registered. The FRT called it an Hand Ejector 38 Military & Police Model 3 of 1905 Change 4

Yep this is essentially a pre-model 10 that was made some time in the early 1900s, the serial dates it before the victory model as well

How did you find that info? I was hoping to get what year it was made and who may have used it.

Just some info picked up from the S&W forums as well as a screenshot of a smith and wesson factory letter for a similar model, I was trying to find production date for S&W M&P for 12.7 eligibility
