Browning Buckmark Takedown - locktite on screws?

Hi, I just added a Buckmark Camper UFX to the safe. Before the first time to the range I wanted to disassemble, clean and make sure it's oiled. The barrel screw does not want to move, I'm assuming it's been installed with locktite. I did some researching and some guys say it's not necessary to remove the barrel, just the sight plate but that it will need sighting in after assembly.

Does this sound normal? If I knew this before purchasing I would have went with the Ruger Mark IV.

ya its on there with locktite.
i took mine off but it took some doing to get it to come off.

i just wanted mine off because i wanted to take it right down.
there really is no reason to have to take the barrel off unless your gonna replace it id imagine.

I agree. A patch worm to clean the bore eliminates the need to remove the barrel.
